Drew Dunn Boston Concert reviews
GLAMOUR ROCKS TOUR DOESN'T (ROCK)
Here is the rearranged review with some words switched:
1. Drew Dunn performed finally. They sounded great, but I was very disappointed that they played so many of their new songs and not enough from the latest cd.
2. The show began with Friday Night Boys. To put it bluntly, they were fantastic! I hate their cd -- it's one of my least favorites, but their live performance was amazing. Reminded me of a seasoned, established garage band after a few beers... the vocals were fantastic, their jokes were entertaining and hilarious.
3. On to the good stuff... Hey Monday was next. I actually think they were worse live than on their cd, but I'm a huge fan either way.
4. Finally, I believe this event was under-sold...it was far less crowded than other sold out shows at Starland, and that made it more enjoyable.
5. We the Kings were disappointing...terrible. Horrible performance.
